Had a great stay, just like always. the accommodation here is fantastic, and the location can't be beaten—it's close to local shops and nice and quiet. Plus, it's a short walk to the pub where the concert was taking place. 🎶.

It was value for money and ideal for a short stay.
There wasn't much to dislike--the style of room (cheapest) was a little bit dated but ok for the cost

It was small but clean and confortable.
I really took exception to having to put up with the person next door smoking. We could not be be our room without having to shut the window and the door. Smoking should not be allowed so close to other units and distance should be enforced. This person was a chain smoker and rudely told us to just shut our door. As we have allergies to smoke and anyway it is very unpleasent, why should the guest take precedence over our comfort? An outdoor smoking area could be created WELL AWAY from the units. I also woke in the early hours of the morning to teh smell of smoke ... it seemed to be coming from the fan in the bathroom. I think the smoker was smoking in his room under 'cover of darkness' ... disgusting. Also, there was a large collection of cigrarette butts in a pot in our outdoor area ... quite revolting. We also could not use our outdoor area because of the smoker.

A Relaxing Peaceful Stay For Me!
I had a wonderful stay at Redland Bay Motel. The room was very clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The location was ideal, with shops and a great hotel within walking distance. The friendly host even held my bag until the shuttle arrived. I highly recommend this motel for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

Location and price :-)
The book provided by the Motel which should include information about surrounding food outlets and businesses etc., was absolutely filled - every single page, with a don't do this, don't do that, this is not permitted here and basically it just set down their groundrules without any positive anything. It made me feel the owner runs the place for one person - herself and when i asked about 'regular' motel stuff =- like putting other expenses on our credit card, I was answered with another smart ass question. Also, the 'Water Wise' theory of having short showers and turning off taps when bushing etc., is RIDICULOUS when it takes up to 5mins for the water to warm up and also, the soap is a liquid dispenser that takes an awful effort to fill your hand with. I found the Motel comfy, but the attitude ONE WAY. She was happy to give what she had, in return I had to tolerate her cranky, no sense ways. This Motel does NOT give customer service after payment!
